UIC Community Assist Program

"Your program gave our organization a chance to introduce our youth to the college experience and also gave them a chance to go out and have some clean fun."

- Evelyn Mensah, African American Christian Fellowship

Everyone Wins

"The game was the coolest thing ever"

- Mozart Elementary student

The biggest gain from participating in the UIC Community Assist program is that your company or foundation provides a tremendous opportunity for the youth of Chicago. Your contribution exposes Chicago's youth to the exciting atmosphere of collegiate athletics. Additionally, by being on the UIC campus the organizations youth gain early exposure to a campus setting.

Send a strong message to the community by participating in the UIC Community Assist Program - showing that you truly care about the city of Chicago. Your generosity also presents a positive public relations opportunity for your company or organization. Because this is viewed as a donation, giving to the UIC Community Assist Program can be used as a tax-deductible contribution.

How the Community Assist Program Works

"It is through the generosity and commitment of programs such as the UIC Community Assist Program that we are able to make such a difference in the lives of seriously ill children."

- Katherine Purcell, Manager of Children's Services, Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation

Each corporation, foundation or individual is given the opportunity to purchase single game tickets at a discounted rate, or to invest in a broader Community Assist partnership. We have developed a diverse list of non-profit organizations that will benefit as a result of your contribution. If you have an established relationship with a specific non-profit group then (at your request) that particular group will be the recipient of your contribution.

Who Receives Your Support?

"We had a blast and it was a great educational opportunity for my students - most of whom had never been to a large university."

- Dustin Seemann, Physical Education Teacher, Mozart Elementary
