2007: Horizon League Newcomer of the Year...All-Horizon League First Team selection...also selected to Horizon League All-Newcomer Team...hit a team-high 19 two-baggers...batted .321 with four homers and 47 RBI...led the team with a .422 (35-for-83) average against Horizon League pitching...two-time Horizon League Player of the Week (Mar. 6, Apr. 16)...homered and scored twice against No. 1 Vanderbilt on Mar. 11...hit a three-run shot in the first inning of UIC's Horizon League Championship opener against Cleveland State on May 24...doubled home a pair of runs during UIC's win over No. 16 Long Beach State at the NCAA Long Beach Regional.

Prior to UIC: Played two seasons for Everett Community College in Everett, Washington...2006 All-NWAACC North Region First Team selection...earned All-NWAACC Second Team honors that same season...awarded All-NWAACC North Region Second Team accolades in 2005...played in the 2006 NWAACC All-Star Games...helped the Trojans win the 2005 North Region Conference title...as a sophomore in 2006 hit .385 with 32 RBI and 10 doubles...stole 28 bases in 36 attempts...scored 36 runs...hit .310 as a freshman in 2005...drove in 20 runs and scored 23 times.

Prep/Personal: Two-year letterwinner as a third baseman at Timberline High School...two-time All-SIC First Teamer...two-time all-state...guided the Wolves to a 5A state crown in 2004...played for Team Idaho in 2004 and selected to the Baseball Northwest Team Idaho that same year...two-time All-Academic Idaho Team honoree...hit .458 as a junior and .421 as a senior...set school record for doubles in a single season with 19 two-baggers...inducted into the Timberline High School Hall of Fame...also competed on the football and wrestling teams as a prep...born February 8, 1986...son of Mark and Louis Pingree...majored in psychology.
