Springfield, Mass. - Andrew Stover won his first all-around title of the year as the UIC men's gymnastics team defeated William & Mary and Springfield College at Blake Arena on Sunday afternoon.

UIC came out victorious in its second triangular-meet of the year with a season high score of 340.300, beating out conference rivals William & Mary (338.650) and host Springfield College (327.00).

Stover led the Flames notching his season-best all-around score of 84.850. Undoubtedly his most impressive performance of the year, Stover managed to share the high bar title with teammate Ned Kamimura scoring an identical 14.400. Stover also took third on the parallel bars (13.850) and fourth on the pommel horse (13.950)

Neal Thompson continued to impress as he took home two event titles on the afternoon. He garnered first place honors on the pommel horse (14.600) and parallel bars (14.050). Thompson also recorded a second place finish in the all-around with a combined season-best score of 83.600.

Nikolai Korepanov paced the Flames, winning his fourth still rings title of the year with a season-best 15.150.

If season-bests weren't enough, Kamimura added to the list with his performance on high bar and all-around score of 81.200.

Springfield's JJ Ferreira won the floor exercise crown and William & Mary's Alex Egerter took first on the vault rounding out the event champions.

The Flames will get a week off before heading back on the road to face Air Force on March 7 and 9 in Colorado Springs, Colo.
