West Point, N.Y. - Neal Thompson garnered UIC's only individual title on the final day of competition at the 2008 ECAC Championships on Saturday night.

Thompson took home the parallel bars crown posting a score of 14.850. At the conclusion of the meet, Thompson added to his accomplishments as he was awarded with Rookie of the Year honors.

After a stellar outing yesterday, young David Mohr continued to shine in today's event finals. Mohr earned himself a runner-up finish on the pommel horse scoring a 14.050.

Joining Mohr with another runner-up finish for the Flames was Anthony May on the still rings. May placed second behind William & Mary's James Prim with a score of 14.850. May also managed to earn a fifth place finish on the pommel horse (13.800).

Other notable performances for the Flames included a fifth place finish on the still rings for Nikolai Korepanov (14.250) and a sixth place finish for Jeffrey Bill on the vault (14.950).
