Career: Concluded his career as UIC’s all-time leader for points (133), goals (50) and assists (33).

2000: Was selected an NSCAA/adidas Third Team All-American and a CollegeSoccer.com All-American Honorable Mention…named the MCC Player of the Year for the second straight season…led the Midwestern Collegiate Conference in all offensive categories with 15 goals and 10 assists for 40 points…tallied seven game-winning goals, including the decider in the Flames’ 2-0 NCAA Play-In game against Fairleigh Dickinson on Nov. 11…had eight multiple-point outings…tallied a pair of hat tricks during the year – the first in UIC’s 4-1 win at Butler and the second at home against Western Illinois in the Flames’ 4-2 come-from-behind victory…had at least one point in seven of the last eight games he played in…totaled five goals and four assists in league play…was named MCC player of the week three times…did not play in the MCC Tournament championship game after picking up a red card during the Flames’ semifinal match with UW-Milwaukee.

1999: Was named the MCC Player of the Year after leading the league in all offensive categories as well as an NSCAA/adidas Second Team All-American…also earned a spot on the NSCAA All-Midwest Region First Team…finished the season with 21 goals and 14 assists for 56 points and ranked second in the final national stats for points per game, tied for fourth for goals per game and eighth for assists per game…was also voted the MCC Tournament MVP after tallying three goals, including the game-winner in the championship game, and an assist…set UIC single-season records with his 21 goals, 14 assists and 56 points this season…became UIC’s all-time leading scorer on Nov. 5 with his two-goal, one-assist performance against UW-Green Bay in the semifinals of the MCC Tournament …was named the MCC Player of the Week four times during the season and was also chosen to the Soccer America Team of the Week on Nov. 9…tied a school record when he tallied four goals against the Butler in UIC’s 5-1 win…had 12 multiple-point games this season and six multiple-goal outings…contributed seven game-winning goals, including three in league victories…was featured in Sports Illustrated’s “Faces in the Crowd” in mid-November.

1998: Picked up where he left off in his rookie season, leading the Flames in scoring with 18 points on seven goals and four assists...earned a spot on the All-MCC Second Team...netted three game-winning goals during the year...had two goals and an assist in the 3-2 win over Cleveland State as well as both goals in the 2-1 victory over DePaul...tallied the game-winner in the 3-1 home win over UW-Green Bay...finished tied for eighth in the MCC for scoring.

1997: Had a terrific freshman season and finished as UIC's leading scorer and the conference's highest-scoring rookie with seven goals and five assists for 19 points...for his effort, was named to the All-MCC Second Team as well as the All-Newcomer Team...netted three game-winning goals during the year, including UIC's lone goal in the 1-0 win over UW-Green Bay in the first round of the MCC Tournament...for his performance, earned a spot on the MCC All-Tournament Team...tallied one goal in four of UIC's final six games and 13 points in the last 11 outings...had a goal and an assist in the 2-1 victory over Michigan State.

Prep/Personal: As a senior and captain at Sandburg High School, he led the team to a 23-3-1 record and a spot in the state tournament quarterfinals as the Eagles' top scorer with 20 goals and nine assists for 49 points...for his performance, garnered all-state, all-sectional and all-regional accolades...was also selected as a member of the SICA West All-Conference squad...as a junior and captain for the Eagles, he tallied 18 points on six goals and six assists en route to all-conference honors...had six goals and four assists as a sophomore on the varsity squad...one of four Illinois players to make the Olympic Development Player National Pool...born June 14, 1979...son of Sekula and Maria Lukin...pursuing a Kinesiology degree.
