Chicago, Ill.- This summer John Trask Total Soccer will again present the UIC Soccer Day Camp for boys and girls ages 4-14 and the UIC Soccer Camp for boys ages 12-18.

The UIC Soccer Day Camp features four one-week sessions that run from June 16 through July 18 with three age-specific options.

The "Little Stars" option is an introductory camp for children ages 4-6 that runs from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. and teaches basic skills and fun soccer-related games.

The "Half Day" option is available to 6-14 year olds from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and teaches fundamental soccer skills that lead to improved performance, while the "Full Day" offering runs from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. for 6-14 year olds and focuses on technical development and tactical ideas through games.

UIC Soccer Camp is an exclusive training program for high school boys ages 12-18 and provides a professional/collegiate learning environment for young players serious about perfecting their game.

UIC Soccer Camp, which runs from June 15 through July 10, in three one-week increments, features "Residential" and "Commuter" options. "Residential" campers will stay in suite-style dormitory rooms and get three meals per day, while the "Commuter" camp option allows players who reside locally and wish to commute to and from camp to get in on the action without staying in the dormitories.

Enrollment in the UIC Soccer Camp is limited to a total of 64 campers to maximize the coach-to-player ratio and best prepare each player for the collegiate environment.

Directing the camps is UIC head coach John Trask, who has successfully operated soccer camps since 1982. His extensive work with U.S. Soccer youth national teams has helped the likes of stars such as Landon Donovan, Freddy Adu and many, many more.

Fresh off guiding the UIC men's soccer team to the school's first quarterfinal appearance in the NCAA Tournament and its first postseason Top 10 ranking, Trask looks forward to another summer to train, educate and increase the passion for the sport within youth soccer players of all ages and levels.
