Chicago, Ill.- For the second straight season the UIC men's soccer team will host Major League Soccer's Chicago Fire in a friendly to benefit the FireWorks for Kids Foundation and America SCORES Chicago.

The match will take place on Wednesday, April 16 at 6 p.m. at Flames Field, located on the UIC campus behind the Physical Education Building at 901 W. Roosevelt Road.

"I would like to thank the Chicago Fire staff, the FireWorks for Kids Foundation and America SCORES Chicago for helping put together another chance to see your professional team play one of the top collegiate programs in Illinois for a good cause," said UIC head coach John Trask. "It should be another great night of soccer for all involved."

General admission tickets for the match between the Flames and the Fire are $10 pre-sale through April 15. Tickets can also be purchased on the day of the game for $12, and a special group rate of $8 per ticket is available in advance for groups of 20 or more.

UIC students can get in at the gate with a valid i-Card for $10.

Parking for the event is available for a fee at the Maxwell Street Parking Garage at 1300 S. Union. Limited street parking is available around the field.

America SCORES Chicago is an affiliate of America SCORES, a unique national youth development program that seeks to help urban students succeed in and out of the classroom through afterschool programming based around writing and soccer.

The FireWorks for Kids Foundation is the charitable arm of the Chicago Fire and supports organizations whose programs provide educational and recreational opportunities for economically or otherwise disadvantaged youth.
