Indianapolis, Ind. - The UIC men's tennis team saw its season come to a close against Cleveland State in a 4-1 loss at the Horizon League finals on Sunday morning.

The Flames could not create any momentum against the Vikings in doubles play, with CSU picking up 8-2 victories at the first and third slots.

Sebastian Lystad, playing at the third singles position, easily defeated Brad Groleski, 6-3, 6-2. Eric Fey and Bastian Harbo were in the thick of play before their matches were suspended due to CSU victories at the first, fifth and sixth positions.

Hans Neufeld's squad concludes the season with a 15-10 overall, 7-2 Horizon League record. This is the fourth-consecutive runner up finish in the league championships for the Flames in as many seasons.
