2007-08 Highlights: Recorded a fifth place finish in the heptathlon with a career-best 3,703 points at the Horizon League Indoor Championships on March 1.

2006-07 Highlights: Turned in a fifth-place pole vault mark of 3.05m at the Horizon League Outdoor Championships.

2005-06 Highlights: Team's top competitor in the heptathlon during the indoor campaign...placed fourth in the heptathlon with a score of 3676.00 at the Horizon League Indoor Championships...took fifth in the long jump at the Purdue Invite on Jan. 14th...placed sixth in the shot put at the UWM Tune-Up on Feb. 17th.

Prior to UIC: Competed two years for the College of DuPage...team captain and Most Improved award winner for COD in 2005...helped College of DuPage to NJCAA national runner-up finish in 2004.

Prep/Personal: Lettered two years in track and field and football for York Community H.S....guided York to a 2000 state title...helped York earned second place at the state meet in 2001...helped the Dukes win four West Suburban outdoor titles (2000-2003) and three indoor crowns (2000, 2001, 2003)....born March 12, 1985...son of Michael and Helene Pawelek...majoring in marketing.
