Norman, Okla. - Three members of the UIC women's gymnastics team ended the 2008 season in stellar fashion at the NCAA South Central Regional at the University of Oklahoma's Lloyd Noble Center on Saturday night.

Co-captain Annie Kachman garnered a seventh place finish in the all-around standings. The 2008 MIC Athlete of the Year ended the season with a final tally of 38.900.

DeAvera Todd, the 2008 MIC Newcomer of the Year, put forth an excellent performance on the vault in her first regional appearance as a Flame. She finished tied for seventh with a 9.850.

Sarah Murray also represented the Flames well on the floor exercise. In her first regional meet of her career, she came away with a final score of 9.625.

Alabama won the South Central Regional with a 197.300, followed by the host Sooners with a 195.875.
