Chicago, Ill. - Due to inclement weather and poor field conditions, the UIC softball team's home opener versus Central Michigan has been canceled for Wednesday, March 19.

The doubleheader will not be rescheduled.

UIC's next stop is the Indiana Classic this weekend in Bloomington where they will face host Indiana and Louisville.

The Flames home opener is now set for Tuesday, March 25 against Illinois. The doubleheader at Flames Field is set to start at 4 p.m. CST.
