Feb. 22, 2008

Cleveland, Ohio - Due to a water-main break in the vicinity of the Cleveland State campus, the 2008 Horizon League swimming and diving championships will be moved for at least today's competition.

The University of Akron's Oliver J. Ocasek Natatorium will be the new site of the league finals. There is a possibility that Saturday's action returns to Cleveland, pending the status of the water main.

Additionally, the championship will be taking on a new format to accommodate the emergency switch in venue. Starting with Friday's events, there will no longer be any preliminary rounds held, only timed finals.

The Diving events will now be held on Saturday, beginning at 11 a.m central time.

For the most recently updated information on the league championships, please visit Cleveland State's website, csuvikings.com or the Horizon League's page at horizonleague.com.
